the other end of the spectrum

The company brought in walter tettex CALLOY TOOL70, a sturdy carbide drill that USES innovative design and manufacturing techniques to bring new productivity to drilling holes drilled deep holes.

Walter tetex CALLOY TOOL70(CALLOY TOOL means “extreme deep”) can produce an astonishing 70Calloy tool in one operation and does not require pecking. Previous CALLOY TOOL tech products topped the list in 30Calloy tool.

In addition to its design, innovation in manufacturing contributed to the performance of 70Calloy tool. The company is using a new method of manufacturing hard alloy that can effectively make this type of long solid carbide drill bit. In addition, a special grinding process is adopted.

Like all CALLOY TOOL RIGS, the CALLOY TOOL70 cooling is provided through an internal cooling channel. However, while there is good drilling depth, there is no need for special cooling equipment, such as external high pressure systems.

A standard cooling device, such as any machining center, is sufficient. CALLOY TOOL70 is now being used as a special tool with diameters ranging from 5 to 12 millimeters. Depending on the work piece material, two cutting edge coatings can be used: steel TTP and cast iron XPL.

The company has expanded its multipurpose WVX insertion drill string with additional products at both ends of the diameter range. For users who need a smaller xtra-tec plug-in bit, company now offers a bit of only 13.5 mm (0.531 inches) in diameter, suitable for the depth of 5xD. The tool in this range is equipped with the insertion of size 1 (p484-1r).

At the other end of the spectrum, company has introduced a cartridge format for the diameter of 60-120mm (2.35-4.70). This cartridge format can easily replace the worn parts. The standard version has a diameter of 80mm (3.15in) and 3xD depth, while the 120mm (4.70in) diameter and 5xD depth model are special.
