The new company’s hard alloy microdrill provides excellent performance for holes with a diameter of 0.073 inches to 0.116 inches. The Calloy drill 862 has a thin TiAlN coating that helps maintain the edge geometry and provides a smooth surface for the evacuation of the chip. This will help extend the life of workpiece materials including steel, stainless steel, cast iron and aluminum.

The innovative post-processing on the 862 Calloy drill has reduced the thrust and improved the fast and effective chip removal by combining the special design point geometry. This is aided by advanced chip management (ACM) flute geometry, which helps to evacuate the chip. This is critical for microdrilling, because even the smallest accumulation can lead to problems such as drilling breakage, precision loss, downtime, and obsolescence.

The Calloy drill 862 also provides a good drilling inlet and outlet, and can realize the hole capacity of it8- it9. The internal coolant hole directly transfers the coolant directly to the top of the drill, even at the depth of the deep drilling, which can further help the precision and chip.

The drill can be used on a bit of 8-12 x D, which only applies to the high precision clamping from the company.

The company recently announced that their hard alloy can replace the expansion of the drilling project. Providing high productivity in a wide range of materials and applications, this range is a replacement for an innovative carbide drill bit.

There are two types to choose from; Calloy tool-3 is specially developed for stainless steel and cast iron, but is also recommended for titanium and nickel. Calloy tool-3 can be up to 42.0 mm in diameter and is an ideal choice for processing carbon and alloy steel. Both types have a self-centered, four-sided splitting point. This feature ensures low thrust force during the drilling cycle, thus improving continuous high performance.

Each head has a series of drills to support drilling depth to 3x diameter (H8353), 5x diameter (H8355) and 8x diameter (H8358). In structural integrity, an object can accommodate multiple heads without any compromise.
